Dixon (2004:86) mentions that '[m]ore than half the clauses in Jarawara texts are intransitive', and only about 3% of transitive clauses have both A and O stated. In such cases, in about 85% of the time the A precedes the O and about 73% of the time the O precedes the A. The order is not fixes and grammatically not significant (cf. Dixon 2004:86).
